Clean tech expert George Willis Huber will keynote WiSys SPARK Symposium

The symposium, which celebrates research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the UW System, will take place at UW Oshkosh, Aug. 6-8. You can register for the event at wisys.org/spark.

WiSys recognizes students for expert research communication at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research

More than 500 students from across the country applied to participate in the competition, while 70 students ultimately pitched their research in-person. Five first and second place winners were awarded cash prizes totaling $4,000 in various categories.

WiSys-led partnership wins $1 million NSF grant to make Wisconsin a global leader in sustainable ag

The grant will support a partnership of 30 organizations from across the state as they lay the groundwork to develop an ambitious, effective and credible 'regional innovation engine' that harnesses the region's talent and intellectual capital to make Wisconsin a global leader in sustainable agriculture.

The WiSys SPARK Symposium is an annual celebration of the best and brightest faculty, staff, students and alumni in the UW System.

UW-Whitewater to host WiSys’ statewide student entrepreneurship competition on April 22

The competition was established to connect the Wisconsin entrepreneurial ecosystem to University of Wisconsin students with the goal to help students think critically about their business ideas and implement lean business methodologies. Leading up to this statewide competition, students received mentorship from campus and statewide entrepreneurship experts.
